My path to mental health work started with volunteering at several residential treatment centers in Minneapolis/St. Paul and Los Angeles, including Fairview Adolescent Psychiatric Unit, Hazelden/Betty Ford, (Adult and Young Adult Programs), The Pride Institute, and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. I transitioned to Lead Clinical Assistant at Paradigm Treatment Center for adolescents and young adults where I discovered my passion in life – helping others with mental health challenges. After spending four rewarding years supporting a team of skilled therapists, I decided to become one myself. As part of my clinical training, I completed a year-long Relational Gestalt and Trauma therapy training program at the The Relational Center in Los Angeles. I then completed my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and my clinical training at Paradigm Treatment Center (Malibu) serving as an individual, family, and group therapist for at-risk adolescents. Now, I've been a Program Director for a residential treatment center, a Lead Therapist, and lead a private practice.

Helping others has become my life's work, in line with my core values of kindness, responsibility, integrity, loyalty, and creativity. I consider it a privilege every time a teen, young adult, adult, parent, or couple decides to entrust their care and parts of who they are to me. My clients' trust inspires me to do my best, to offer thoughtful care, and help you see things from new perspectives. I believe in empowering people not just to face life’s challenges, but to enjoy life too. Every day I wake up with gratitude for each opportunity to help someone.
